As COVID -19 continues to spread Walker Valley Veterinary Hospital is committed to your health and safety. We are doing our best to remain open to care for your sick pets. We may be limiting some of our normal business hours and availability of well visits. In an effort to keep our staff and the public safe we are asking that clients be free of flu-like symptoms (fever, coughing or shortness of breath in the last 2 weeks). If you are a client of ours that cannot visit our facility, we may be able to accommodate you through telemedicine. In addition, we request that when you arrive at our hospital that you notify us by calling (845) 744-8605 . We will then take your pet in for examination and treatment while you wait in your car. We will deal with pick up of medications, special diets and preventatives in a similar manner. As per CDC recommendations, we will be wearing face masks, performing frequent hand washing/hand sanitizing, and cleaning heavily.
